For as long as I remember I have always wanted to go to New Orleans and Mardi Gras.
But I never have, which is fine by me. So this year I decided to by myself a King Cake to at least take part in the celebration.
My dad was also born in Marrero Lousiana but was raised in Texas. So I feel like Louisiana is still part of me a little bit.
It was so nice to see Anthony Robbins on Oprahs Next Chapter on the OWN. He just makes me so happy and inspired and Oprah does the same. They both make you feel like you can do anything! : D
Looking to get one of Anthony Robbins courses again to listen to in my car. I had original planned on getting some Dani Johnson or Chalene Johnson but I think I want to take this a step further. 
I think his course is the umpfh I need to move ahead SERIOUSLY. Not just motivational, but life changing. He really takes you to the next level and make you believe you will and can and do!
I love him in Shallow Hal and always had the BIGGEST crush on him! <3
I loved how him and Oprah compared stories growing up, they had similar stories which really makes me believe the harder your life was growing up the farther you go in life. My life was not easy but it was not that bad compared to both of theirs.
His wife seems sweet, humble and pretty. 
What I like about her is that she is her own person and she of course supports him at his events. Speaking of his events I have always DREAMED of seeing him live! It is such a dream! I will def add that to my Bucket List.
About the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve
Between 2001-2003 I lived in Michoacan, Mexico. Had a abbarotes, tienda (store) with my ex-husband, who was Mexican and from Mexico. My daughter was born in Paracho Michoacan Mexico. We are now separated.
Anyway during my time in Mexico I learned about the Mariposas (butterflies) that travel every year to the central part of Mexico. I remember when I was there my ex-mother-in-law and ex sister-in-law traveled to go and see them. They brought me back a souvenir, a mariposas compact. It was dainty and pretty. I wish I still had it.
I hope to one day go there and take my daughter. My daughter thinks its the reason why she likes butterflies so much. I wouldn’t doubt it It looks like a beautiful, magical thing to see. Millions of butterflies in one central location.
Monica was made infamous for sexual encounters with former president. Tried to reclaim her with her bag business called The Real Monica Inc. Most recently obtained a Masters degree in psychology. She is still currently single.
Aside from all that, that all is nice and all. But I think she can do even BETTER!
Especially with a documentary about the former president Bill Clinton on PBS that will soon be airing, she should use that press time to either start her own reality show, write a book or something along those lines. I think she needs to take some lessons from Jersey Shore or the reality stars with tons of kids (notably Kate Plus 8).
I feel bad for the woman. I have nothing nasty or jokingly to say about her but she still needs to use what she got, even her embarrassing infamity and run with it! : D

Every year, since 2010 my daughter and I have been taking staycations at the Holiday Inn Express. We love them. Its a good way to get away without actually having to get away.
We always go to the snack bar and get the chicken tenders, bring out chihuahua Sheesha, and just have a night out at a nice hotel stay. I also used to work for Holiday Inn Express as a night auditor when I turned 18 years old. I LOVED the job and working graveyard. I am a priority club member so I get points whenever I stay there as well.
A couple of new things I noticed, one they have plenty of paper things to recycle and they do not recycle. And now they now have room service with 18% gratuity. Which isn’t bad considering when I don’t feel like going anywhere to get food. However, we did not utilize it at this time
My daughter also wants to have her birthday party there, which the snack bar is actually a concessions for the swimming pool which has all kinds of entertaining things in it like a water park. So I will try to do that this year for my daughter.
I will try to go again before this year is over and of course go again in February 2013.
Tropical, Greenberry and Chocolate Shakeology
After waiting for MONTHS, I think even years for the Tropical Shakeology, it has finally came out Valentines Day and delivered this morning by Fedex! : D
So I made my mother and myself some. My mother said it tasted like strawberry, banana and peanut butter.
I tried it and could initially taste the strawberry, then the hint of the banana, the a BIG hit of the tangy pineapple. Pineapple seems a lot to me. But I am going to try different recipes. Its good and different. You can also taste the powder so it is important to continuously shake it up, but the powder taste doesn’t bother me.
Usually I prefer the Greenberry Shakeology and I have grown to love the Chocolate. When I initially drank the Chocolate I could not even gag it down and now I can drink it just fine.

I have always wanted to visit this restaurant lol! Even back when they were still in Arizona lol! I love novelty restaurants like this, they are fun. I am not really surprised about the man who had a heart attack. That is what the whole place was based around. High in fat and calorie restaurant. I thought it was sad that people had thought the whole thing was a stunt and took pictures. Come on, really?
I am not recommending this restaurant nor condoning it but its controversy has gone through the roof! Between food porn, their portrayal of nurses, their encouragement of obesity in America etc. I think this hospital American hamburger theme might have gone a tad bit too far.
