Movie Review: Twilight Breaking Dawn Part I

I loved the books of the Twilight series and went and seen the midnight showing when it came out a few years of Twilight. I could not wait for Breaking Dawn to come out! I skipped 2 and 3 because I was not into the stories as much as I was into Twilight and Breaking Dawn of the series.

So after Thanksgiving I went to the movies! My sister took my daughter to go and see The Muppets and I was able to watch Breaking Dawn.

First of all, you need to read the books before you could fully understand the story and if you did read the books you have to understand that they have to cut out parts in order to make a two hour movie out of it or it would take forever. The movie was appx 2 hours and 1 minute.

I loved it. I thought it was as accurate as it could get for a movie, a little disappointed that they had to make it a two parter instead of just making it a longer movie. But oh well. I don’t think I would have done anything differently really though. I mean everything that was part of it made sense. I love that it was set in nature, Forks WA, a small town. Reminds me of when I lived in a small town and you are surrounded by nature. I miss it.

I plan on purchasing a Kindle Fire and purchase all of the books again so I can reread them before the 2nd part of Breaking Dawn comes out : D I am not a hardcore fan but I do love the story. It really gets into your fantasies and tries to make it real and that is why I think it is so popular.

The reason why I love this story so much is because Edward Cullen really is Bella Swan’s true love, although there is a love triangle between her, Edward and Jacob. But soon Jacob figures out who his true love is and then the story makes more sense. 😉 I am Team Edward, although Jacob is more my type.

I loved this movie! Definitely will need the boxed DVD set when it comes out.
