Okay how we came about watching Kung Fu Panda 3 is, prior to this my daughter was watching animated movies on netflix and amazon prime for entertainment, she watched Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 and came in my room and asked me what pre-ordering meant when she went to watch Kung Fu Panda 3, amused I explained the movie isnt out yet to purchase or rent because its not even out in theaters.

So maybe a day or so later I realized it might be out in theaters and checked my local movie theater website and saw it was. So I asked her if she wanted to go and watch it in the theater, she of course excitedly said yes. 😀 So I decided to go on a Tuesday since it has a discounted rate of $5 and the theaters would be empty. I love watching a movie in an empty theater 😀 (when we did go there was only 2 other people who were together).

To prep for the movie on Sunday night we watched Kung Fu Panda, which I thought was better than expected and then we watched on Monday night Kung Fu Panda 2, which I thought was okay. Im not really into animated films that much, some are okay and always expected to be disappointed, so a lot of animated films have surprised me. Like Wall E, Inside Out, Up and Despicable Me. Im only interested in very few animated flicks, like the one coming out this Summer, The Secret Life of Pets. That one I cannot wait to see. 😀

My daughter and I hardly go to the movies, we spend a lot of time with amazon and netflix but it has to be a pretty special movie to go see at the movie theaters. 😀 I at pretty anxious about the live action Disney Princess films The Little Mermaid and Beauty & The Beast movies coming out in the near future. My two favorite Disney films growing up! 😀

Anyway so we went yesterday and watched KFP3 and it was amazing, I almost cried twice. It was soooo much better than the first two. Po reunites with his birth father and the other pandas. I love that each film he learns a lesson. The first and second he learns to believe in himself, the first he learns also to fight, the second he learns inner peace, the third he learns to teach and to Master Chi. I love how the lesson is for him to learn how to be him, or the other people learn how to be themselves. “Teach you to learn how to be you”. Which also ties in with learning master chi.

I have a tendency nowadays to look for messages in films, I saw a couple. idk I guess its my inner conspiracist :p But they kept relaying the message about his two dads and I thought that was interesting, take with it what you will and in one scene there was a cloud of dust or smoke that looked like an eye. I know Im so bad lol! But Im surprised there werent anymore, Im sure if I watched it again I would find more.

No matter the messages or what not, I LOVED this movie. We already own the first one I figured we could add this movie franchise to our collection. So we will get the other two. PLEASE GO WATCH IT!
