Movie Review: Burlesque
So this Thanksgiving weekend, I decided to rent a bunch of movies (Eat Pray Love, Just Wright, Santa Paws, Sex and the City 2, The Karate Kid) and go to the movies and watch Burlesque and Tangled. I was unable to see Tangled but my daughter and her grandparents went while I watched Burlesque.
I just have one short movie review: Cute, Sexy and Fun! : D I loved how glamorous the clothes and the ladies were. I loved the dancing and singing. I realized that Christina Aguilera have very distinct beautiful singing voices. The storyline was your typical rags to riches and fall in love type happy ending plot. But I just think it was there to be fun to watch. : D
VMA’s 2010 – Some hits and some misses
Well it has been a few years since I last watched the VMA’s. But this year I thought I would because Chelsea Handler of Chelsea Lately is hosting and Eminem was opening. So I watched it and Lady Gaga kept winning all the female video awards and I was hoping that Ke$ha would win a couple. I was almost certain that the VMA of the Year would go to Eminem for his comeback and freakin Lady Gaga won!!! I am so mad! Did the votes really go that way? I understand that it was somewhat Lady Gaga’s year but Eminem has been around longer and has made a comeback. Anyway I am just not please with the results. But whatever, its good entertainment right? And really, nothing crazy happened this year at the VMA’s. Surprisingly! And if I rationalize a little bit it is logical that Lady Gaga would win and I believe previously Eminem has won VMA of the Year before. Anyway that is what I think LOL!
Concert: Britney Spears in SLC, Utah!
YES! I went to Britney Spears as an early birthday present. It was fun! But in order to go, I had to dress up. So I wore my daughters blond Hannah Montana wig, pink boa and pink/black bustier. I love to dress up for different things like special events or my birthday. The Pussy Cat Dolls opened for Britney Spears. She was really good and still a great performer. This is the first concert I have been in a long time. My very first concert was with Rod Stewart, my second Concert was Cher. This will be my third concert in my Life. I would like to go to Madonna if she would tour in the USA. I LOVE BRITNEY SPEARS!!!
