Happy Mothers Day 2012!
Source: Uploaded by user via Charm on Pinterest
Happy 30 to me!
First, I want to say my birthday was a BLAST! First thing we did was go to a birthday breakfast at IHOP. I got apple crepes, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and sausage. I also had the balloon lady make me a pink crown lol! They also sang Happy Birthday to Me!
Then later, I had lunch with my family, well, my siblings at the Olive Garden and I got my favorite the Cheese Ravioli with marinara sauce.
I love the fact that I told both my sisters to not worry about getting me the Madonna Truth or Dare perfume and they both end up getting it for me lol! And let me tell you the perfume smells DELICIOUS! Madonna is so smart to come out with something so universal! And I never smelled it before I got it for my birthday!
I took home my leftovers and plan on eating it for breakfast and lunch on Sunday, which also happens to be Mother’s Day. : p I also know that next year I am pretty sure my birthday and Mother’s Day will be on the same day. May 12th.
My other sister bought this delicious bottle of red, sweet wine called Italia Roscato Rosso Dolce 2010. OMG that wine was so good!!! It was a $30 bottle and only 750ML and worth EVERY penny! Thanks Sis! I got a great buzz off of it lol! I plan on seeing if I can findit at the local liquor store.
I was also worried before my birthday about getting a cake, either tres leches or strawberry Boston but my wonderful sister came through and was already one step ahead of me and got me a Mrs. Fields Birthday cookie! It was delicous! Plan on eating more of that today as well!
Then we came home and had some Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, Pinnacle Whipped Vodka. Needless to say I ended up throwing up and passing out lol!

Inspirational News
Well after the crazy news I wrote about the other day, I figured it was time to write about something that can make us all feel a little bit better about the world.
Mother’s Inspiring Video About her Blind Baby Boy
Lacey Buchanan loved her baby no matter what! I read this story today and I am just in awe of the mother and her husband for loving their child no matter the consequences of his birth. Poor baby Christian was born with cleft eyes and blind. According to Lacey in her video people would stare, talk behind her back and say things like “whats wrong with that baby?” . People can be so cruel. She saw passed that and kept her baby Christian and he is the happiest baby alive.
I always said that if my baby was born with a down syndrome or any other birth defect or dysfunction of some sort of I would of course keep my baby. Any child is a Gift. I still cannot believe that in hospitals they ask you if will keep your baby if they have a medical problem of some sort. I think that is ridiculous. It seems so superficial to say “Oh your child has this birth defect, would you like to abort?” WTF is that??? Really???
Anyway I am so proud of Lacey and her husband for bringing such a beautiful, inspirational joy Christian into the world

Paralyzed Puppy Thrown in a Trash Can Gets Rescued
It really pisses me off that people have no disregard for animals feelings and they treat them like they are toys They are not toys people! They are living and breathing creatures. For the owner, who is probably a frequent breeder and probably does this a lot to do the paralyzed puppies it breeds >:(
I do love the fact that there are still compassionate people who try to help those aniamls in need. On top of the fact that the animal was paralyzed, he is a pit bull and pit bulls have such a bad rap already for something that they had nothing to do with! >:(
I am just happy that the puppy is now taken care of. <3
New Fave TV Chef: Restaurant Impossible with Chef Robert Irvine
I LOVE FOOD! I love The Food Network. I love the Cooking Channel. Before I came upon Chef Robert Irvine of Restaurant Impossible, Guy Fieri was my fave.
But I liked Robert Irvine’s show kind of by accident. See, at first I am not a fan of the English men Kitchen Nightmares Gordon Ramsay, SuperNanny Jo Frost type stuff. Its getting old that they keep coming up with shows with hardcore peeps with those accents. Which makes it annoying.
I mean, I love the fact that they are smart, intelligent people who take care of their stuff well but it makes Americans look dumb lol! Which, I kind of agree, ARE!
Anyway, today turns out to be a marathon on RI because they have a new episode on and I think I really like this chef because one, I notice he appreciates everything everyone has done to help, two, he just seems to know what to do right away and three he means business and does not fool around.
My dream is to own my own diner, called Jackie’s Diner, so I am getting plenty of ideas from this show. I am still trying to come up with my menu because I like all kinds of foods and such.
Anyway, I love this show now lol! And since its a marathon of the previous episodes they are all new to me : D
Depression
First, I want to say all my life, for the most part, I have been a happy go lucky type of person until 2009, second I don’t like to blog about negative, sad or depressing things. But this, I think is worth talking about. So I am going too.
In 2009 I went through a bad breakup and literally snapped. I had to go to therapy for 6 months and was put on anti-depressant and anxiety medication. Initially I was taking medication (two different kinds) both in the morning and evening. Then gradually I changed medications to generic Prozac, aka Fluoxetine and the lowest dosage of 20MGs.
Now, I still consider myself a Positive Optimistic person but now I feel like I am going through another episode of depression since February of this year (2012). I always have been miserable at my job, one it was very stressful and my ex worked there. I didn’t know how bad everything was until I went in to emergency surgery for Appendicitis, which happened at the beginning of February. When I was in the hospital, I realized, THIS time, I am really going to quit my job. So I did in March of 2012. Quitting did relieve a lot of my stress but I still find myself depressed.
So I tried to do a Depression research study, passed through a couple of the screenings as was told to go back to my doc to up my dosage again and if I am still depressed then come back and do the study lol. THAT WAS DEPRESSING. I TOLD them I want to go back to my doc to up my dosage but I have no insurance to do so, but they still had me come in and waste my time and gas anyway.
Plus, since becoming a BeachBody Coach I have been seeking more natural ways of doing things, including my depression and of course my health. So in the near future I plan to see a Naturalist as well as go and see my family doctor again.
